Located in Poland, Tczew, redesigned and refurbished in 2019 store that belongs to Ukrainian retired pro cyclist Bogdan Bondariew that was taking part in races such as Tour de Pologne or Giro d’Italia.
When I had arrived to the shop it had very tired POS area, and wall display with piles of bikes that you couldn’t reach and you wouldn’t be sure where to find which category. Bogdan wasn’t sure what to display on the mezzanine and how to drive customer there. He also needed help with exterior look of the store. Designing I knew Bogdan wants the store looks impressive but he also wanted have still quite large amount of bikes on display. We had to compromise using existing double tiered racks and adding new bike display that show less bikes in a long row as well as adding some featured bikes display. Bogdan’s trophies were everywhere around the store, so I fame wall instead putting all in one place on shelving. New inspirational local large format graphic gave awesome background to double tiered racks and colourful wallpaper on the mezzanine behind kids rack and lightboxes are driving attention of customer right from the entrance. The exterior was repainted in one colour, chaotically placed signages and graphics were replaced with clear simple back lighten signage, totem and flags.
